Rejtek zsomboly (Hideout pothole)

Tour/trip details:

Two parallel shaft (63m and 72 m deep) with a connecting horizontal passage. The old part is built with ladders, the climbing on the last big one needs a belay. The entrance of the parallel shaft is a short tight hole in the wall of the old pit, the approach needs SRT. The "new part" is decorated with nice formations including coralloid like popcorns and aragonite spars. The origin of the cave is disputed, but very likely a secondary hydrothermal effect on its formation.

Tour/trip grade: Easy trip for cavers with knowledge of SRT.

Clothing and/or equipment: overall, electric light source, helmet, gumboots, complete SRT equipment and competent.
