Meteor-cave
Tour/trip details: A sinkhole cave which is not very common in this particular area. It belongs accordingly to the water tracing experiments of the hyroéogical system of the largest Alsó-hegy reseurgance, the Vecsem spring. After a dirty and low entrance, part one proceeds through an oblique, labyrinth-like passage downward, which is interrupted by 8 and 10 meter deep vertical shafts (with iron ladders). The second shaft is direcly leading into the Titanic Hall which is one of the largest in Hungary. In the center of the hall huge dripstone formations are to be found and in its southern narrow upper part helictites and dripstone draperies are to be seen.
