Béke-cave , short trip
Trip details: The cave can be reached with a two kilometers hike from the road. On the 200 stairs of the artificial shaft we ascend into the main corridor of the cave. The tour in the cave takes approx. 3 hours and covers about 2 kilometers of the main branch. The route is lined with nice red and white dripstone formations, such as flags and limestone pools. Dripstone dykes and tetarate hills are still created intensively. The tour ends at the Rope-ladder sump. There is an active underground stream in the cave, so a warm waterproof outfit and gumboots are necesseary.
Trip grade: Easy for cavers.
