Baglyok szakadéka (Owl's cave) - roundtrip
Tour/trip details: On the half way down in the impressive 60m deep entrance pit with a not so obvious side traverse leads to the inner part of this parallel shaft system which was explored in the late 70s when the first SRT kit arrived to Hungary. The bottom can be reached in various vertical ways with good possibilites for a technical rigging. The bottom (-110m) was dug in 1991-92 and after some heroic work, a small pit was found with a tight end, but this is not accessible today.
Tour/trip grade: Easy trip for cavers with good knowledge of SRT.
Clothing and/or equipment: overall, electric light source, helmet, gumboots, complete SRT equipment and competent.
